Preschool and Elementary Parents Open Gym Meetup at We Rock the Spectrum

For this meetup only, we have an exciting new location at We Rock the Spectrum in Gaithersburg! 

Space is limited, so registration is required.

Cost:  Free!  (All xMinds events are free)

Who is invited?  Families with an autistic child of elementary or preschool age. Register for yourself and up to 3 family members, including your autistic child. 

What's We Rock the Spectrum?  

It's a kids' gym committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment to foster learning, exploration and safe sensory experiences. Through their nonprofit My Brother Rocks The Spectrum Foundation, they provide social skills groups and activities for children across the spectrum. Take this opportunity to meet other local parents while your kids enjoy themselves. xMinds board members Melanie Carlos and Natalia Ahn will be there to welcome you and to provide snacks. Also, Natalia speaks Spanish. 

Future dates/Locations:  Saturday, February 18, 2023; and every third Saturday of the month, with adjustments for holidays. Register here for future meetups. Future meetups will not be at We Rock the Spectrum, but will be located at Glen Haven Elementary School Gymnasium, 10900 Inwood Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902 or at an outdoor playground in warm weather.

Es un gimnasio para niños comprometido a brindar un entorno seguro, enriquecedor y divertido para fomentar el aprendizaje, la exploración y experiencias sensoriales seguras. A través de su organización sin fines de lucro My Brother Rocks The Spectrum Foundation, brindan grupos de habilidades sociales y actividades para niños de todo el espectro.

Aproveche esta oportunidad para conocer a otros padres locales mientras sus hijos se divierten. Los miembros de la junta de xMinds, Melanie Carlos y Natalia Ahn, estarán allí para darle la bienvenida y brindarle refrigerios. Además, Natalia habla español.
