The Relationship Bootcamp is a two day workshop in Olney, MD for couples & individuals that teaches practical tools to improve communication, resolve conflict and build intimacy. This event isn't about parenting, but when parents experience deeper connection & intimacy their children will also benefit.

Based on Terry Real's Relational Life Therapy model, the workshop focuses on minute-to-minute skills including:

  • Overriding knee-jerk reactions in heated moments to navigate conflict calmly
  • Breaking free from the losing strategies that block intimacy
  • Complaining without blame in order to get more of what you want from your relationship
  • Encouraging (not discouraging) your partner’s efforts, and celebrating progress
  • Letting go of the battle and working together to find a solution

Caron Starobin, LCSW-C and Valerie Kolick, LGPC & Certified Relationship Coach facilitate the bootcamp in a way that's mindful & affirming of neurodivergence.
