Participants will learn about Supported Decision-Making, a recognized alternative to guardianship, and its role in promoting independence and self-determination during the school-to-adult transition. The session will translate Supported Decision-Making into practical, everyday applications, including how to implement it in educational planning and family decision-making. Attendees will leave with strategies to help young adults build the skills needed to make meaningful choices about their future.
