Get a glimpse into the world of an archaeologist.

*A sensory retreat tent will be available on-site at this event if anyone needs to take a break from the larger group.*

FREE family-friendly day filled with hands-on activities, presentations, and live music! Do a simulated archaeological dig. Identify seeds and mend ceramics. Make clay marbles and a clay pot, and try tin-smithing and weaving.

Play tug of war and join a sack race. Throw a spear with an atlatl. Construct a wikiup. See the Civil War doctor or visit with a Union soldier. Discover ways Indigenous people lived in the pre-colonial era. Check out discoveries in the archaeological displays.
