We are so excited to have Barbara Delsack join us for this month's Parent and Communication Partner Workshop! Barbara’s passion is giving a voice to those who cannot communicate in traditional ways. We will expand the topic of increasing and improving communication in social, educational, and family settings. We will cover the importance of recognizing and using non-verbal communication and other AAC resources. As always we will include suggestions from typers/spellers.

Barbara S. Delsack is a Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and a Communication Specialist. She has been with Montgomery County (MD) Public Schools (MCPS) since 1993, as a member of the Assistive Technology team InterACT and as a speech-language pathologist. Ms. Delsack has served the public special education community, specifically, the population with autism, for over thirty years Now, in partial retirement, she is a consultant with SupAbilities.com, a Maryland State Autism Waiver Provider providing services in Montgomery, Howard, Frederick, and Carroll County.
