February Virtual Parent Workshop

Date: April 30th, 7:00PM

Location: Virtual via Zoom

Cost: Free

Registration: RSVP to Shelley McGinness in order to receive the Zoom link: ktsworkshops@ttlc.org

Audience: Parents of elementary through high school students.

Transitions to the next school level can induce some anxiety for students and parents.  The KTS OT team would like to help bridge the transitions from elementary to middle school and from middle to high school.  During this workshop, the team will review the student skills expected at the next level and assistive technology tools that will help students access the curriculum.  The team will talk about ways that parents can help support executive function skill growth in time management, activities of daily living, and organization.  By working on these skills at home and school, students will gain independence and confidence as they transition to the next level!

Presented by Asia Cherico, MS, OTR/L, Keely Litty, COTA/L, Laura Jean Michels-Graybeal, MS, OTR/L, Nathaly Rusinque, COTA/L, and Michelle Morris, MPT, PT
