Club Alliance Social-Emotional Fall Program (22 Jun 2026)

Alliance Pediatrics

Club Alliance Social-Emotional Fall Program

Location: 1901 East Jefferson Street, Rockville, MD 20852

Cost: Dependent upon weeks attending. Full to partial coverage for the Club A therapeutic summer program may be available through out of network benefits. Contact Alliance Pediatrics for more information.

Dates: There is a 3 week session and a 1 week mini-session. Participants may sign up by the week. It is recommended to begin on a Monday and finish out the week to receive full instruction.

Registration: Participants need to fill out an interest form to be reviewed. Deadline varies depending on enrollment numbers. There is often a waitlist, so interested families are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Empowering kids to face fears, manage emotions and become social rockstars! This is a summer camp that helps children accept difficult emotions while learning ways to feel calm and become socially confident. We offer an emotional component that includes regulation strategies, identifying and handling unhelpful thoughts and more. Our social component includes conversation skills, dealing with teasing, social problem solving and more. Supplemental lessons teach campers about the different factors that impact our social emotional health, like nutrition, sleep, and daily gratitude.

We want to have FUN in summer! We are successful when children don't want to leave and they can't wait to come back. Our #1 goal is for kids to ENJOY THEMSELVES (while learning life skills). Children learn best when they are engaged! Once we know our enrolled participants, we like to incorporate THEIR interests into the social enrichment and emotion regulation curriculum.

See flyer for more details.

Parents will leave with practical ideas for reducing overwhelm, building routines that stick, and helping their child work with their brain instead of against it.

When: Wednesday, August 19th from 9:00am - 12:00pm

Location: Virtual

Cost: $30

Registration: RSVP here.

This session focuses on strengthening teacher leadership in the supervision of paraprofessionals through a constructive, developmental approach. Grounded in adult development theory and research on instructional supervision, participants will examine how clarity in roles, intentional delegation, and developmentally responsive feedback improve collaboration and student outcomes. Rather than viewing supervision as compliance-driven, the session positions it as a leadership practice that supports adult growth. Practical tools and routines are provided for immediate classroom application.

Participants will:

Define and communicate performance expectations for paraprofessionals/directcare staff (i.e., roles, responsibilities, and fidelity criteria) using observable, measurable terms.

Use behavior-analytic training and supervision strategies (e.g., behavioral skills training, modeling, rehearsal, performance feedback) to build staff competence and consistency in instructional/behavior-support routines.

Implement a practical system for monitoring staff performance (formal/informal), delivering developmentally responsive feedback, and making data-based adjustments consistent with ethical and professional supervision expectations.

3 BCBA CEUs, attendance certificates provided

Parenting a neurodivergent (aka “Orchid”) teen can feel overwhelming, isolating, and unpredictable. You’ve learned a lot already, but the teen years bring new challenges, questions, and moments that make you wonder “Am I doing this right?” and “What do I do now?” We want you to feel supported, understood, and equipped to parent your Orchid teen with confidence and calm.

This support group is for parents who want ongoing connection, thoughtful guidance, and practical support as they navigate the emotional and relational complexities of the teen years.
