Parking: Free parking is available in the Town Square Garage on Ellsworth St.

Cost: Free to xMinds Members; $15 per non-member

Registration is required and limited to 20 youth and 1 accompanying caregiver / parent.

This training brings officers from Montgomery County Police Department’s Autism/IDD Outreach unit together with up to 20 teens and adults with ASD, plus their parents or caregivers. The training uses the Montgomery County Police Department Outreach program curriculum, as well as video modeling from Be Safe: The Movie to show viewers how to interact with the police in everyday encounters.

This event is appropriate for students in grade 7 and older.

 This event is interactive; there will be active participation from attendees.  Teens and young adults are welcome.
