Diploma-bound students on the autism spectrum have great potential to pursue higher education and meaningful work. They also have unique cognitive, social, and behavioral needs that must be addressed for them to engage in the curriculum, be accepted by their school communities, and have positive educational experiences and outcomes. Our goal is to empower parents and teachers with quality information to help them understand high-functioning children on the autism spectrum, to reach them, and to teach them. When parents and teachers work together, dreams can be realized.

Unity, not uniformity, must be our aim. We attain unity only through variety. Differences must be integrated, not annihilated, nor absorbed.
